2018 Oklahoma Holiday Auction Guide

The holidays are fast approaching, which always results in an influx of charity auctions and related events for various causes and nonprofits. Below are some of the many holiday charity auctions going on across Oklahoma over the next several weeks.

Nov. 29: Kids’ Space Annual Charity Auction

Where: Kids’ Space – 400 Court St., Muskogee, OK 74401

Join the United Way affiliate Kids’ Space at their 2nd annual charity auction in Muskogee, raising money for their organization that aids children and their families who are dealing with abuse. The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Kids’ Space property, and features refreshments, both live and silent auctions, and also a raffle — with the winner receiving a choice between a 2018 Ford Fiesta or a cool $10,000.

Tickets for the raffle are $25 each, or five tickets for $100, and can be purchased by calling (918) 682-4204.

Nov. 30: ARF’s Puttin’ on the Leash!

Where: Hopestone Cancer Support Center of Bartlesville – 206 SE Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74003

The Animal Rescue Foundation (ALF) of Bartlesville is hosting a fundraising event any pet lover can appreciate. Puttin’ on the Leash! kicks off at 6 p.m. on the upstairs level of the Hopestone Cancer Support Center of Bartlesville, beginning with a cash bar happy hour officially dubbed “Yappy Hour,” and followed by dinner and dessert provided by Weeze’s Cafe. Roger Skelly will host a live auction alongside an ongoing silent auction, both of which feature numerous items donated from individuals and local businesses.

Dec. 8: An Evening at Moulin Rouge – JWL Charity Gala

Where: Central National Bank Center – 301 S. Independence, Enid, OK 73701

The 15th annual Junior Welfare League (JWL) Charity Gala is sure to be a memorable one. Beginning at 7 p.m., Enid’s Central National Bank Center will be transformed into Moulin

Rouge, complete with music, entertainment, Parisian food, and much more. In keeping with the theme of the night, performances include the Oklahoma Showgirls and live music from The Big Daddy Band. There will be both live and silent auctions during the evening as well.

Come help the JWL surpass the $500,000 donation mark! Individual tickets start at $85 and can be purchased here.

Dec. 15: The Belief Center Annual Holiday Benefit Gala and Silent Auction

Where: 1215 NE 34th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73111

The Belief Center’s annual holiday event will feature live music, a silent auction, and a wide range of selections from some of the best restaurants in Oklahoma City. Tickets are $30, with all proceeds benefiting the many initiatives of the Belief Center, including Valor Academy, Kid’s Cafe, and Meals on Wheels. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. sharp.

Dec. 6: Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction Benefiting Fur Babies Adoptions & Rescue

Where: Okmulgee First United Methodist Church – 600 E. Okmulgee St., Muskogee, OK 74403

Fur Babies Adoptions and Rescue of Muskogee is hosting an inaugural fundraising event for pet lovers of all ages. The dinner starts at 5 p.m. and includes several different food options aside from traditional spaghetti, such as salad, garlic bread, alfredo sauce, and macaroni for the kids, if desired. A silent auction will take place throughout the evening, along with face painting and live music from Maddie Parks. All proceeds raised will go towards helping Fur Babies’ mission of providing homes to stray and abandoned pets in the Muskogee area.
