Dakil Auctioneers Auction House broke ground in 1998 on a 28,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art auction facility. Conveniently located just south of Edmond on Interstate 235, this facility is the home of our daily operations, playing host to a large number and variety of our in-house auctions. In addition to housing our corporate office, the facility is equipped with a 7,000-sq. ft. auction gallery and customer service center, 15,000-sq. ft. warehouse and 8.5-acre fenced equipment yard. This one-of-a-kind, full-service headquarters allows us to successfully facilitate just about any type of auction. To continue the quality and excellence that Dakil Auctioneers is known for, we are constantly making upgrades and improvements to our equipment and procedures.
Our spacious auction gallery seats up to 500 bidders and provides a climate-controlled environment to conduct our in-house auctions. Bidders are equipped with a theater-sized screen and the latest audio and video technology to provide clear, concise information about items being sold with a virtual inspection of merchandise during the live sale. Through the use of standardized industry auction software, we are able to expand the reach of buyers world-wide through simulcast online bidding, which gives a live audio and video feed of the auction as well as pictures of lot items from the comfort of one’s home or office.
Dakil Auctioneers’ 15,000-sq. ft. warehouse is built with wall to wall, multi-level pallet racking. This allows safe storage for upcoming auction items and also serves as display space for current inventory. It’s equipped with two standard dock bay doors and loading machinery for quick and easy removal of purchased merchandise. Our proprietary inventory systems ensure the efficient processing of all inventory from arrival, through auction day, to removal. This space allows for on-site sale and storage of weather-sensitive items and also serves as a secure area for pre-auction inspection.
Our fenced 8.5-acre auction lot is able to store hundreds of vehicles and heavy construction equipment. It has a separate standard dock height loading ramp with a heavy load forklift for easy transport of large machinery. This auction yard has become the home of our quarterly heavy equipment and machinery auctions, serving contractors, companies, and organizations such as OG&E, Oklahoma Natural Gas, the City of Oklahoma City and many others.
